Kenya gained independence in December 12 1963 in which they created a new constitution.(A) The KANU won the election in 1963. The KANU was the nations government up to 1964.(B) In 1964 Kenya became a republic and Kenyatta’s title changed to president.(A) Kenyatta began building a new nation by expanding the school system.(B) The government replaced British colonial economic and cultural systems with divisions between ethnic groups.(C)
